A Citizen of the World

     I am immensely lucky to have had the opportunity to form part of this program. It has seen me grow professionally and above all, personally. Being the first in my family to attend college, I feel fortunate that I was able to find the guidance I needed and mentors that I could count on by joining the Office of Global Learning Initiatives. 

     More than anything, I am happy that I was able to embark on a journey of self-discovery and that I have come to love. I was able to find my place and purpose, and for that, I give thanks to the GL staff. Opportunities that I feared before, I now welcome with open arms and I can say with the utmost confidence that I am ready to embrace what’s to come next.
